Austin is the capital state of Texas and, according to latest census data – the third fastest growing city in the nation. Perhaps more important to many, it is known around the globe as the, “Live Music Capital of the World”.
Located in Central Texas, it is 34th-largest metropolitan statistical area in the United States. In the 1830s, pioneers began to the settle the area in central Austin along the Colorado River. In 1839, the site was officially chosen as the republic’s new capital and was incorporated under the name, Waterloo. Shortly thereafter, the name was changed to Austin in honor of Stephen F. Austin, the “Father of Texas” and the republic’s first secretary of state. The city grew throughout the 19th century and became a center for government and education with the construction of the Texas State Capitol and the University of Texas at Austin. Dell’s worldwide headquarters is located in nearby Round Rock, a suburb of Austin. Residents of Austin are known as “Austinites”, a quirky and eccentric, casual, independent and friendly population which includes a diverse mix of government employees (e.g., university faculty & staff, law enforcement, political staffers); foreign and domestic college students; musicians; artists, high-tech workers; blue-collar workers and business people.
The premier showcase of Austin’s music scene is the annual South by Southwest Festival. This event draws musicians and fans from around the world, and features not only famous as well as upcoming musicians, but groundbreaking films and is an important venue for the international film festival scene. The, “Longest Running Concert Music” program on American television is Austin City Limits, videotaped on the UT Austin campus. The annual Austin City Limits Festival draws global fans and acts in its multi-day event. The tickets for the 3-day 2012 event in October 2012 are already sold out, reflecting how significant this event has become to the music industry and music fans.

With over 20 years of experience as a Real Estate Appraiser serving the Central Texas area, and as a Designated Listing Specialist, I bring to my clients the experience and qualifications to help them obtain the best return from their most valued asset - their home.
I have many years of experience in analyzing markets and evaluating residential, investment, multi-family/income-producing properties, as well as luxury, vacant land and farm/ranch properties in Austin and the surrounding Texas Hill Country.
In addition, I hold the special Green Designation from the National Association of Realtors, reflecting special proficiency in Green building initiatives and awareness of the environmental impact of building. As a co-owner of Renove Residential Investments, LLC, which specializes in rehabilitating homes and restoring them to energy-efficient and gracious living status, I have gained experience which provides me with current, accurate information on how to identify problem areas in a home which could be pitfalls to a buyer. This allows me to provide a general idea of repair costs, as well as an idea of an expected rate of return.
I also hold these other industry designations:
GRI – Graduate of the Real Estate Institute
SRS – Seller Representative Specialist
TRLP – Texas Association of Realtors Leadership Academy
I co-owned an appraisal and real estate brokerage firm serving Austin and the Hill Country from 1994 to 2008. I am very active with the Austin Board of Realtors, and currently serve on and/or have chaired various committees from Government Affairs to Professional Standards.
I have lived in Austin and Hill Country for over 23 years. I lived in Wimberley for 15 years before moving to beautiful Driftwood in 2008. While I have chosen to currently reside in the hill country I have had offices and lived in North Austin, South Austin and East Austin. I love working in both the city and hill country to find the perfect match for my clients whether it be urban or rural. I have a special love of animals, and for over 15 years was a breeder/exhibitor of prize-winning Bouvier des Flandres, including showings at the famous Westminster Dog Show. I support Animal Trustees of Austin and WAG the Wimberley Area Adoption Group.
My goal is simple ...
